so i jus watched the new moon clips that were unvieled at comic con yesterday. i was super stoked to see them.
the first one was bella riding the motorcycle with jacob for the first time, and to tell you the truth, i’m a little disappointed that they didn’t put the lines in the book into the movie, because i personally love when edward’s voice comes into bella’s head and tells her “this is reckless and childish and idiotic bella” and she freaks out and the bike tips shoots out from under her, and then he says “i told you so.” it gives edward a little sense of humor in theotherwise dreary role he plays in this book. but i guess that the apparitions in the movie are kinda cool. but i do give them props at the end of the scene where bella says to jacob “youre kinda beautiful”, and he looks a little shocked, then stung and says “how hard did you hit your head.” so overall i’d give the scene a 6 out of 10.
the volterra scene in italy was the other one. bella and alice are driving in the porsche and bella leaps out to find edward. now this was all great, except for the fact that bella is really athletic in this scene, when in real life she’s supposed to be clutzy. anyways, she gets to the fountain and sees edward stepping out of a building while unbuttoning his shirt, she yells out to him to stop but he can’t hear her. now kristen stewart does a great job of acting out stressful and depressing scenes, so her performance in this scene was really good(: this scene was good to. an 8 out of 10(:
but, i find myself questioning this movie. i was hoping it would be alot better than twilight, and with the first preview i thought it would be, but now i’m not sure. as good as these scenes were, i didn’t feel like i was watching new moon. but i guess i’ll just have to wait for the movie. which, no matter if it sucks or not, people will say is amazing just because its twilight, and robert pattinson AND taylor lautner both don costumes with no shirts(: i am pretty excited for that(: ahaha. anyways…. hoping the best for this movie.
